What should I do if system screen lock shows up together with Gesture Lock Screen?

Set the system screen lock to "None" or "Swipe": Phone settings > Security > Screen lock > select "None" or "Swipe".

In some cases, you should set up a secure system screen lock, e.g. when using fingerprint unlock, then follow the steps below to remove the system screen lock:
  1. Set the system screen lock to "None" temporarily.
  2. Turn off and on the phone screen, unlock your phone with gesture. (IMPORTANT)
  3. Create your pattern, PIN or Password.
Turn off and on the phone screen, you will see Gesture Lock Screen only.

Accessibility service for Gesture Lock Screen keeps getting disabled, why?

The newest version doesn't use Accessibility service any more.
If you are running a task manager that automatically closes apps periodically, please add Gesture Lock Screen to its whitelist.

Android may disable accessibility service automatically on some devices and unfortunately we have no control over this. However, on most devices, you can turn off app optimization for Gesture Lock Screen to stop it from being disabled. This is usually found in Settings > Battery.
  • For Samsung Galaxy devices (S5 and later), go to Android Settings > General > Battery > look under App Optimization and select Details. Then find Gesture Lock Screen and turn it off.
  • For Huawei phones, go to Settings > Apps > Advanced Options > Ignore Optimizations and toggle "allow" for Gesture Lock Screen.
